Introduction to Ladys Album Of The Week
Hello, and welcome to my music blog titled Ladys Album Of The Week.
Who are you?
Lady. Just some girl on the internet. I like to listen to music.
What is this?
It is a blog where I post one album every week that I think you should listen to.
Whether you are actually able to listen to the album depends on factors outside of my control, but most things are streamable these days. I will share Bandcamp links for things that are on Bandcamp, and Archive.org links for things that are freely available on Archive.org. I, regrettably, also like some music that was released thru major labels, for which you are on your own.
What qualifies as an “album”?
A list of songs that were designed to be played together in sequence. The number of songs is not important but will usually be greater than 1.
How long can you keep this up?
I have discovered at least 15 new albums I like every year for the past decade. 15 albums a year is less than 52, but that does give me at least three years of runway.
Realistically, I will probably miss some weeks due to vacation or illness, and there is always a chance I burn out on the project before I have finished sharing every album I like.
